Greetings Truehart Followers!
We’re excited to bring great news to you about our mission to educate the public about the African American experience in New Jersey and its lasting impact on the Black community today.
The Hopewell Valley Regional School District Social Studies Department has designed lesson plans to help students explore the history and ramifications of slavery in New Jersey, a topic often overshadowed by the narratives of other states. Through primary sources, discussions, and classroom exercises, students will gain a deeper understanding of the experiences of enslaved individuals and the broader historical and societal implications. View available lesson plans on our website today: Educate | Truehart Productions
